It doesn't matter what caused your break up, you can learn how to wipe the slate clean. Send them a letter. Not just any letter, but say exactly the right thing, precisely when they need to hear it. Do not email it, text it, hand write it. But you must make sure it has exactly what and when it needs. Next you meet. If you do not have the meeting precisely timed and planned, you will only resume the same old arguments and frustration. There is a simple thing you can do to re-bond the two of you together in the mind of your ex.
